Demilitarization & BDS

In Coalition with Demilitarize! Durham2Palestine, a broad group of organizations from Durham, North Carolina, we seek to uplift the national liberation struggles going on in historic Palestine by linking it to struggles against racism and mass incarceration here in the US. D2P's previous campaign successfully fought to end police exchanges between the City of Durham and the State of Israel.

Affordable Housing

The Durham Housing Working Group is working in partnership with Tenant's Rights for Durhamites to advocate for the passing of better regulations codifying the rights of tenants, public proposals for increasing the supply of affordable housing, and agitating for the formation of tenant unions to directly advocate for the rights of tenants when local governments fail.
